A matter of taste
本课主要学习的是中国三位著名画家及其作品的风格特点, 学生对绘画 方面的知识不是很熟悉,所以学生学起来较有一定的难度,但是还是有 兴趣了解。 所以在教学过程中通过展现绘画作品和相关的作家等文化资 料,让学生加深对中国文化的理解,运用尝试教学法,让学生通过自学 总结概括运用英文简单介绍中国的著名绘画作品。 本课是北师大版高一英语第二模块第六单元 Design 的第一课,着重围 绕艺术设计这一话题,展开听、说、读、写一系列语言实践活动。语法 是介词的选择和使用,需要通过大量实践活动,让学生感知介词使用的 规律和用法。学生通过学习,能够就艺术设计展开讨论。 At the end of this class, the students will be able
  1. 语言知识目标:I to practice using prepositions of time, place and movement. II to master the language points in the text. III to practice using adjective antonyms
  2. 语言技能目标:to describe the paintings.
  3. 学习策略目标:to cooperate with their partners to discuss the related issues
  4. 情感态度目标:to develop a taste of famous paintings
  5. 文化意识目标:to know the differences between Chinese arts and foreign arts

教学过程 Teaching Procedures Step 1: show the objectives:

  1. To read the text and take notes on it.
  2. To practice using prepositions of time, place and movement
  3. To describe the paintings.
  4. To practice using adjective antonyms.
Step 2: Lead-in
Show some paintings drawn by foreign painters. T: Just now we described some paintings drawn by foreign painters. Now let’s have a look at our Chinese paintings. Look at the three paintings at P36 and discuss in groups: (引入本课内容, 提高 学生注意力)
  1. Which do you like best? Why?
  2. What do you think of when you see the paintings?
