语法重点: 语法重点:英语写作中需要大写字母 When do I use capital letters?

  1.每个句子的首位单词的第一个字母应该大写,如:He is a teacher. (他是一名教师.)

  2.专有名词(如人名,地名,国名,语言名称等)和专有名词词组(如党,政,机关,团体,国际 组织等)的实词首字母要大写,如:Steven, Beijing, China, English, United Nations 等. 称里面有小于五个字母的介词或连词则无需大写 ※专有名

  3.建筑物,工厂,商店,学校和山河湖海等地理名词的手写字母要大写,如:Tian'anmen Square(天 安门广场),Beijing University(北京大学),the Yellow River(黄河)等.

  4.月份,星期几和节日名称的首写字母要大写,如 June(六月),Sunday(星期天),Christmas Day(圣诞节),Children's Day(儿童节)等.

  5.称呼,称谓与人名连用时,首写字母也要大写,如 Miss Wang(王小姐),Chairman Hu(胡主 席)等.

  6.由词头组成的缩略词,习惯上应该大写每个字母,如 CCTV(中国中央电视台),USA(美国), WTO(世界贸易组织)等.
  7.人称代词 I(我)在任何时候都必须大写.
