高中英语选择题巧解三法

在解答单选题的时候,同学们总有这样的感觉,考点内容并不是很难,可自己 的正确率总是提不高,而每次老师讲解的时候又总有种拨开云雾见日出的感觉, 常常后悔自己怎么没有多想一步。那么怎样才能在答题时命中要点,提高正确率 呢?俗话说:“欲将善其事,必先利其器”,只要能掌握恰当的方法,就能在较 短的时间内准确地做出选择。这里将介绍应答选择题时常用的三个方法:
  1.删除法 删除法即通过去掉题干中多余的干扰成分如插入语,同位语,从句等,来排 除多余信息、理清主干,找准命题的意旨,以便正确理解题意。高中英语的许多 单选题有着深入简出的特性,考点并不难,但在句式上有一定的干扰性,删除法 可用来解答此类题目 例 1 The young man admitted, after several hours of questioning, a wallet from the passenger on the bus. A. having stolen B. to have stolen C. being stolen D. to steal
分析:此题如果将中间的插入成分进行删除,题干就会明了许多,为 The young man admitted a wallet from the passenger on the bus. 同学们不难发现题目旨在考察词组 admit doing sth., 不难找出正确答案为 A 例
  2. The strong wind caused the fire, which obviously had been set by someone on purpose, quickly across the field. A. spreading B. spread C. to spreading D. to spread
分析:这道题一眼看来,结构仿佛比较复杂,但如果能运用删除法将中间的干扰 成分非限制性定语从句删除,题干就简洁了许多,为 The strong wind caused the fire quickly across the field. 同学们不难看出题目旨在考察词组 cause … to do ,不难找出正确答案为 D 练习:

  2.增补法 增补法即通过理解上下文,补充题目中的省略成分,使句子完整,以帮助自 己快速、准确地体会题意。这种方法多用于解答对话题目。高中英语的许多选择 题都是在情景中体现语法, 所以增补法在解答以情景对话考察语法的题目中用处 不小。 例 3 Mum, why do you always make me eat an egg every day? enough protein and nutrition as you are growing up. A. Get B. Getting C. To get D. To be getting
分析: 此题如果把答语补充完整, 则为: always make you eat an egg every day to get I enough protein and nutrition as you are growing up. 动词不定式表目的,这样我们 就能得出正确答案 C 项。 例

分析:此题如果将答句补充完整,则为:Andrew will be teaching mathematics at a private boys school. 不难得出正确答案为 B. 练习:

  3.还原法 还原法即通过转换句型来还原句子的本来面目,以明确题意。一些句式在进行句 式还原后更明了清晰, 也更符合学生的思维习惯, 学生看得顺, 自然就答得好了。 例 5 Attention must be paid to the jewelry shop . A. prevent … from being robbed C. prevent … to be robbed B. preventing … from being robbed
D. preventing … to be robbed
分析:此题的题干为被动语态,如果我们将句子转化为主动语态,:为 We must pay attention to the jewelry shop . 不难看出, 本题旨在考察词组 pay attention to, prevent … from.., 答案为 B。 本题 我们运用了被动语态转化为主动语态的方法。 例 6Mrs Brown was much disappointed to see the washing machine she had had went wrong again. A. it B. it repaired C. repaired D. to be repaired
分析:本题在 washing machine 后有一个定语从句,还原法是解答定语从句的一 个很好的方法, 只要我们将先行词还原到从句中, 从句的结构自然就明显了许多, 此句进行还原后,为: She had had the washing machine . 不难看出,本题旨在考察 have … done… 正确答案为 C。本题中我们运用了将 复合句还原的方法。 例

分析:本题的出题点中包含了一个疑问句,我们可以将疑问句转化为陈述句,这 样更理清句子的结构,经过还原后,句子为: You would rather have sb. your camera. 不难看出本题旨在考察 have sb. do sth. 正确答案为 C。 练习:

  1.任何方法的使用都是对解题的辅助,对于任何句子,我们还要从句子的结构下 手,找准谓语,使句子结构明了化。
