Amendments Children only have to draw lines and don’t have to correctly copy days of the week. Pauses between questions have been reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds as children no longer have to write words. The layout of the task has been changed to make it easy to draw lines from the pictures to the days. New rubric now reads, e.g.: What did Sally do last week? Listen and draw a line from the day to the correct picture. There is one example.

Candidates not expected to produce a polished narrative; 1 thing about each picture is sufficient. Amendments Children are now told the title of the story by the examiner. Children are now instructed to look at all the pictures. Pictures are enlarged and numbered. (see materials for exact details of layout).
