A Simple Analysis on the Skills of English Interpretation
Abstract: With China’s reforming and opening up, interpretation plays an important role in the international activities. As more and more fields and companies deal with the foreign communications and business affairs, there is a great demand for interpreters. English is the most widely used language in the world, so English is very important to foreign communications. English has a pivotal role, English-Chinese and Chinese-English interpretations have a far-reaching influence in China’s propaganda work of ‘get to know foreign countries, spread Chinese culture’. Interpretation has a long history in China. But relative to practice, interpretation is not that much good, which need English learners to make it perfect.

来越多,对于口译人才的需求因而呈急剧上升。英语作为世界上应用范围最广泛 的语言,对中国的对外交流有着举足轻重的作用。因此英汉,汉英之间的双语传 译,在中国“了解别人,宣传自己”的过程中影响深远。口译工作在我国由来已 久,但相对于实践,口译却不是想象中的那么好,这就需要英语学习者把英语口 译做得更好。
