Unit 1 Our birthdays

Listen, look and say. Presentation
  1. Bring in a large wall calendar in English.
  2. Show the pupils the wall calendar. Say This is a calendar. Point to each month. Tell the pupils This is one month. Show the pupils and read aloud the names of the week from Sunday to Saturday. Teacher: There are seven days in a week. They are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tell the pupils to use ‘and’ before the last item in the list.
