Unit 3 Months of a Year
教学总目标 通过本单元的教学,学生能说出一年十二个月的英语名称;能用英语简单介 绍一些 中外节日.通过学习"Tell me something about your……,When is……?What do you Usually do on……?"等句子结构,去获取信息.能运用从课文中学到的语言描 述一年 中的月份和节日,能读懂图表信息转换为文字信息,能运用从图表中获得的信息 进行交流. 【教学目标】
  1. 学习名词:January,February,March,April,May,June 等
  2. 复习动词及短语:make,join,start,plant trees,have a party,fly kites 等.
  3. 交流要点:What are you making? We're making boat. When is the Dragon Boat Festival? It's usually in June. Can I join you? Welcome.Let's make it together. 【教学重难点】
  1.月份的第一个字母要大写
  2.月份词汇中发音较难掌握的发音,如:February,April,August,etc.
  3.综合运用已学知识和新知识进行口头交流. 【教学用具】准备一些学生用的课本或图片,教学光碟
Lesson One 第一课时 【教学过程】: (一)warm-up
  1. Greetings. T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to see you. How many seasons are there in a year? (学生不懂可做汉语提示) Ss:There are four seasons. They are spring, summer,autumn and winter. T: How many months are there in a year? (首次出现 month,学习并教读) There are 12 months in a year.
Today we'll learn the name of month. ( 二) Presentation
  1. Learn the new words (展示 PPT,分别呈现 January,February,March,April 等单词.) 教授方法:教读,齐读 操练方法:齐读,快速认读,英汉互译
  2. Learn new dialogue T:Do you know the Dragon Boat Festival? (展示 PPT,呈现端午节的画面) 教读:Dragon Boat Festival T:On that day people usually go boating. (三)New dialogue on page 25,pary one What are you doing? We're making a boat. The Dragon Boat Festival is coming. 播放录音,让学生跟读,听录音训练学生听力. 操练方法:齐读,分角色朗读.
第二课时 【教学过程】: (一)Greetings and review. T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to see you. How many months are there in a year? Ss:There are 12 months in a year. T: Yesterday,we have learnt 6 months. Can you read them out? (全班集体认读单词,注意纠正个别单词的发音.) 操练方式:集体认读单词 以组为单位 one by one Poin and read (二)Review the dialogue. ??What are you doing? We're making a boat. The Dragon Boat Festival is coming. (三)Presentation
  1.Learn the new words T:Do you know when is the Dragon Boat Festival? Ok,let's listen to the tape,then ,we'll fine the answer.
  3. Learn the dialogue about part 2 ??When is it?
It's usually in June. Can I join you? Welcome.Let's make it together. 教授方法:教读,齐读,纠正 together 发音 (四)Practice the dialogue
  1.集体听音朗读,听一句读一句,分小组分角色朗读,个别同学上台表演 等方式来进行朗读训练,注意提醒孩子模仿语音语调.
  2.勾画出对话中的重点句型,并反复操练.
  3.跟录音读课文,尽量做到让学生能独立朗读全篇短文.
第三课时 【教学过程】: (一)Greeting (二)Review
  1.read the words about months 操练方式:集体认读单词 以组为单位 one by one Poin and read (快速读出老师随意指到的单词)
  2.read the dialogue on page25 (运用集体听音朗读,分小组分角色朗读,等方式来进行朗读训练, 注意提醒孩子模仿语音语调.) 操练方式:齐读,分角色朗读 (三)Presentation
  1.Learn the festivals in China New Year's Day(新年) Spring Festivas(春节) Women's Day(妇女节) Labor Day(劳动节) Children's Day(儿童节)
  2. Make the dialogue ??When is New Year's Day? It's usually in January. (四).Practice 操练方式:Teacher ask and the students answer Girls ask boys Pair work
Lesson Two 第一课时 【教学过程】: (一)Warm-up
  1.Sing a song "Months of a Year"
  2.Ask and answer T:Which month do you like best? S:I likebest. (二)presentation.
  1.New words and phraze T:There are two terms in a school year in Chinese. (给学生翻译:在中国,一学年有两个学期.引出单词 term,school year) Do you know how many terms are there in England? (你们知道在英国一学年有几个学期呢?) Ok,let's see!
  2.Teach the new words (在黑板上写出短文中出现的新词) first(第一) second(第二) third(第三) autumn term(秋季) spring term(春季) summer term(夏季) begin(开始) end(结束) 教授方法:跟读,齐读,快速认读
  3.Learn the passage 1> 播放录音,让学生先听,并尽量理解短文大意. 2> 勾划出文中的重要句型,着重教读. 3> 让学生尝试着自己翻译出重点句型的句意. There are usually three terms in a school year in England. The first/second/third term is autumn/spring/summer term. It begins in……and ends in…… 4>朗读课文,老师带领学生大声朗读课文数遍,注意群的停顿.
第二课时 【教学过程】: (一)Greetings. T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to see you. S: Hello,Miss Xie! Nice to see you,too.
(二)Listen and read
  1.让全班学生朗读课文中的重点单词和短语 first(第一) second(第二) third(第三) autumn term(秋季) spring term(春季) summer term(夏季) begin(开始) end(结束)
  2.让全班学生跟录音大声朗读课文,尽量模仿录音的语音语调, 并注意意群的停顿.
  3.尝试让学生自己独立朗读课文. (三)Review 把课文中的重点短语及句型呈现出来,让学生强化记忆 There are usually three terms in a school year in England. The first/second/third term is autumn/spring/summer term. It begins in……and ends in…… (四) Practice 引导学生完成课后填表练习,指导学生正确书写,检查大小写格式.
第三课时 【教学过程】: (一)Listen ,tick and speak

  3.Teach the new dialogue abour part two (老师教读,然后提问) T:You know, Mid-autumn Festival is in September. What do the people usually do on that day? Ss:Watch the moon and eat moon cakes. T:Do you like eating moon cakes? Ss:Yes/No. (四)Read the dialogue by the teacher
